Previously when my license expire i got it done at pos office but this time when i saw others it had changes from those laminated to the solid card type, it just wanna get it cause ...duh.... it's more durable and nicer looking than the laminated ones.Since mine were about to expire in about few weeks later, i just decided to renew it earlier.
So before going to the JPJ nearby, make sure you bring along a passport size photo or if you have the latest IC( identity card with the ur face hologram) they will use that current picture in your IC. If your IC is not the updates ones then a passport size photo is needed to process. I kinda regret did not bring along cause i need to pay RM10 to the photo kiosk to get my photo done ASAP. For your infor, the photo that you pass to them to process will scanned and then return to you in the end. They will not keep it....
There are some JPJ counter that have the service of taking your photo to be process in their system, just like those system for updating the Mykad. So, this would be even better, dun have to bring any photos along.

As usual, get ur number and wait your turn, den submit along ur IC, photo, driving license and money to the counter for processing. Fees for one year renewal will be cost about RM30... i got mine for 2 years so...will be RM 60.
Since i renew mine in JPJ senawang, things were're little different this time. Last time i used to get my license directly done in counter but this times after submitting the things, the officer return me a copy of payment slip together clip with driving license and photo and then ask me submit to another counter for process. After submit, waited for like 10 minutes and they called my name, ask me to write down my name and IC number on a book and it's done.
